To woof or not to woof, that is the question! Well, I did it again. I wormed my way into the cat's room and ate the cat food again. I had a whole bowl and it was yummy. Later, I quietly sneaked up on the sleeping cats and tried to help clean them with my tongue. Boy, was that a mistake. The growled, hissed and even spat at me! Here I am trying to keep up with the Jonses and they dis me outright! I tell you I cannot get a break!

A foggy day in paradise......not!
You know, I have been ignored this week. My foster family is nice, but the cats don't want anything to do with me. I try and try to get them to play with me and all the do is hiss, loudly and chase me away. I threw my tennis ball at them....no luck. I dropped my pull-toy on them, still no luck. I chase them trying to play tag....and they get mad at me.
Can a fun dog catch a break sometimes?

Oops......in the Doghouse Again
Go figure! I am in the proverbial doghouse again. Today, I broke into the cats room and ate all of their food. When my Foster mom came home, she was really mad and sent me to timeout.
Later, I took a nap and wanted a bowl of warm milk and chased a toy mouse stuffed with catnip.....wonder why?

Keeping up with the Jones'
What is the old saying....."imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". I just got an email from my master. He must have heard about my blog because he has posted one of his own. His blog is at http://bobbaima.wordpress.com
He does not have much time for email so please leave messages and comments here for his review. Same goes for me. I prefer to read comments here than have to respond to individual email.

Philo the Dog's Blog!

This is Philo the Dog writing.......at least my Human Alter Ego is doing the writing. My master is away for a while and I am in the care of some cool humans, at least they want to think they are cool. I am a Golden Retriever and here is a picture of me taken recently at the Dunwoody Nature Center.
I living in another home in Dunwoody and have to share a home with 2 cats....big cats at that. I tried to make friends quickly and they gave me the cold shoulder. They hiss at me sometimes (not too much anymore) and one of them tries to chase me around the house. When he does that, I bark at him and he runs away. Typical cat eh? Here is a picture of Wolfie giving me the evil eye.

Anyway, I am writing this Blog to keep my Master up to date on my life and adventures. I know he is worrying about me and I want him to know that I am all right.
I have been getting a good bit of exercise. The humans walk me several times a day. They even make me walk when it is cold, raining and windy. They think they are in control. When they need to be reminded who the smart one is, I take the leash in my mouth and start pulling them the other way. After a few minutes they get the message and start heading back.
Here is a picture of one of the humans that walks me a lot. His name is William though I just bark at him and he calls my name and pays attention to me!

Now my paws are getting tired of typing so I am going to sign off now and go take a nap. I promise to write more soon.
